Intimacy

I was talking to my pops the other day about, what I call "hood stories". These come from athletes with the talent to go wherever, but for whatever reason don't. I told him growing up playing with these guys, I never thought I'd become one. But I also told him I never thought about the next level(s), that stuff came from everybody else. He said "if I woulda been there like I was supposed to...". He didn't realize; him being present at all, was better than anything athletics could've brought me.
