today, because my boss tries to to practice what he preaches, these five women were able to participate in #ADayWithoutAWoman with the full support of our male colleagues. 🖤 we ate tasty food. we talked about wage gaps and hair and traveling and and movies and books. we went to the local bookstore and were treated to our own copy of #ChimamandaNgoziAdiche #DearIjeawele. i was able to support a few of my faves during their bball jamboree then enjoy in-n-out while talking with one of my fave moms. i was able to be today. and for that, i'm thankful and appreciative. @corrhui thanks for persistently organizing today. 🖤 . . . #iwd2017 #lifeatEBSB #EBSB #MissOllies (at Miss Ollie's)

#latepost so yesterday, while minding my own business, i got roped into running in the #OaklandRunningFestival in 26 days with my coworkers!! 😩😩😩😩😩 the last time i did a "big run" was back in 2013 when i did the Nike Women's Marathon, and i only did the half! however, being the Aries that i am, i couldn't back away from this challenge, so imma be hitting the lake or the gym everyday for the next 26 (now 25) days! this was last nights run with The Vato.
