This talk resonated with me. My journey has had me pick up and move a fair amount. With each successive move, I find myself feeling so much better after I have edited out all of the excess “stuff.” I noticed that each time I start over, I feel happier with less. I am intrigued by Grant Hill’s designs and the model of living an edited life. My latest living space initially caused great concern because it is probably the smallest space I have had to inhabit since college. I could not wrap my brain around how I was going to fit everything in. What has happened is that I just got rid of all the unnecessary stuff. I have less but it feels good. I will continue to edit my life and ask myself, “Do I really need it?”
BNN caught up with LifeEdited's Graham Hill for a tour of Smart House's model suite. Unlike most micro-condos, Smart House really thought about making the entire space multi-functional so you don't have to sacrifice any amenities.
Hill says the micro-condo trend, which is spreading around the world, is here to stay in Toronto. "It just makes sense," he says. "They're allowing you to live at Queen and University, a great location, at a really affordable price in a high-quality manor."
