Guard even when you’re not at work
I’ve been a lifeguard for about 2 years and my friend and boyfriend went to a campground for my birthday. Now, my bf isn’t the strongest swimmer but can hold his own. He slipped off the inflatables at the pond and began to drown. I jumped in and rescued him. I looked around for the lifeguard who wasn't paying any attention. We later saw her with her back to the water for a full minute. Later she called us out for being immature and made us leave. I called her out on not doing her job and letting someone drown...
