The Lovers, The Fool, and Justice.
The Lovers: A person who makes you very happy
Riixti awoke feeling much better than she had for the past few weeks. She sat herself up in bed and looked down at her feet. She wiggled her toes— almost no pain. When the asura turned to climb out of bed and put her weight on her left foot, she only winced a little out of habit. Perhaps today would be the day her life could return to normal.
She hobbled down the stairs, the weight of her walking boot thumping as she went. As she rounded the corner and reached the foot of the stairwell, she spied a white-haired asura in a frilly, pinkish apron staring impatiently at the oven.
"Ziatt."
The Fool: Something you’ve always wanted to try
"Something I’ve always wanted to try, huh…" The asura reached into one of her pockets. "Don’t make fun of me, alright? I just feel like there’s something to this." She drew out what appeared to be a seed, medium-sized and shining with blue iridescence. "I have a few of these. I’m not sure what they are. When you plant them, a small, sparkling tree sprouts."
She rolled the seed around in her hand. “I was passing through Claypool during an annual celebration for the human god, Melandru… We were each given one, and used them to plant a small forest outside the village to honor Melandru. And… the humans. I could see something in their eyes. … No, really! You should have been there! It was as if…” Riixti wasn’t sure how to articulate what she witnessed, and gestured vaguely with her hands. It didn’t help. “Anyway. There were a few discarded on the ground after the ceremony, and I discreetly collected a few. I feel like they could be useful… don’t laugh.”
"I wonder if I should pray to Melandru when I plant one, and I could feel what the the humans felt. I saw them. Something was there that wasn’t in me."
Justice: A decision you wish you could do over
"That’s a difficult one. Everything happens for a reason. … My first krewe? Sure, I didn’t like them. But it only ended badly for them. If I hadn’t joined them, I never would have been a part of the preliminary expeditions to Southsun eight years ago. I’d never have found Tarasque."
She paused. “… I suppose… I suppose perhaps I could have figured out a better way to save Tarasque from them. Perhaps I could have saved her sister.” The asura looks into the gaze of her inquirer. Did they know the details? Should she be specific? “I was just… so upset in that moment, when I saw them performing the vivisection. I just couldn’t think. I don’t remember much about what I thought when I came to that decision, of what I ended up doing… just that I was so… consumed, and furious.”
Hi! I hope I have the right blog; your counter crisis tag says maybe yes? I just sent incoherent flaily love for the fic to your cowriter, but I wanted to send some joy your way, too, because two anonymous gleesplosions were not enough. This is for the both of you, too, but directed at your inbox! Your writing is fantastic and Counter Crisis is amazing, and I am so in love with what you're doing with it! <3 So much happy, so many smiles. Thank you for sharing it!
Yes friend, you have the right blog! Me and Koorii have been on a bit of a creative hiatus (though we did write some CC a couple days ago IT’S SO HARD), but rest assured that it is on both our minds. Thank you so so much for the kind words<3, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the fic. It is our monster baby, and while it can get intimidating at times, we appreciate our audience!
(Hey Koorii look we really should post a chapter if I can ever finish editing it sobs)

hahaha it’s really amusingly weird to see my name come up in conversation suddenly. LAUGHS.
Aaaah, I figured it was you. (at first I was like who the heck is this person)
Koorii & Sama:
The longer the pause, Sephiroth’s shoulders relax and he sighs. He gives a sidelong look at Cloud, like actors on a movie set.
Cloud just rolls his eyes, so used to it by now.
"Was I broadcasting enough anger that time?" Sephiroth asks.
((I HAVE AN ICON FOR THAT.
