unfortunately i don’t think that sans’s design is original enough to really do anything with him. even if i gave him a proper background/story/setting, i can imagine people still accusing me of ripping off fell/fellswap/swapfell designs, which actually wouldn’t be that far from the truth! that’s the main problem, otherwise i would have no problem going ahead with it (except that i have enough AU sanses that i do nothing with, sob)

IDK how faithful that is to the original Japanese, but I’m not really comfortable with that.)" The original Japanese for that panel's bubble is "快斗のへたくそ～!!" ("Kaito no hetakuso~!!") Basically meaning Kaito is clumsy or unskilled at this. (I've also seen translators generalize it to the phrase "You suck!" in other series.)

That’s good to know! ...And now I have to wonder why the translator felt the need to go with that kind of insult :/ Thanks for the translation notes!
