My Etsy order queue is empty for the first time in months and I’m okay with that. My brain needs a break so today I’m going to mindlessly work on a couple of scrap afghans I have in the works before working on a couple local orders. . . This blanket will have a total of 836 granny daughter squares (first round of a granny square) made of my wool, acrylic, and cotton scraps in all colors. There’s even some glitter in there ✨ All stitched together with cream yarn. It’s Saturday night which means yarning time (but let’s be honest, I’ve been yarning all day). My “me time” around the time the kids go to bed. I’m wide awake because I took a nap earlier. I really don’t like taking naps - I have a really hard time waking up again. But I listened to my body and gave in this time. . . Tonight’s agenda: English breakfast tea, streaming Midsomer Murders, eucalyptus and peppermint diffuser going, and working on another cowgirl hat. . . I’m always on the hunt for new teas and diffuser combinations to try. The only tea I’ve found that I dislike so far is chamomile.
