One of my characters, Ciel, based on an RPG idea.
He is an elf raised as a human. He’s squeamish of blood and combat but trains anyway, fights with a sword used as a wand for white magic. Next to him is his pet/mount toucaniffin. Ciel’s journey is about losing his home and heritage, being relentlessly adopted and thrown out by warring countries and eventually fighting the person he is most jealous of, his human brother.
