For @look-back-month-challenge Day 1, Memory:
Lifeline and Quickslinger weren't my first Transformers but buying them-- or, rather, subscribing to the collectors' service they were part of, for their sake-- was when I decided I was actually a collector, not just someone who bought toys every once in a while. They were also the first I actually had the nerve to try transforming, if you want an idea of how little I was into the toys at the time.
(They were also the first Transformers femslash ship I got really attached to, granted I see their relationship being a bit more complicated than I can replicate in plastic and so I didn't try, lol.)
