. . . My grandmother died on Christmas in the year 2010 and that was the worse day of my life! While helping to put her funeral together, I made her wig, but didn’t like anything else and wasn’t able to place it on her. She wasn’t dressed right, her wig wasn’t placed on perfectly and she just didn’t look her best AT ALL to me! So, seeing that created a spark that I never knew would exist within me. By then I thought I already conquered my career goal and I’d just grow within that realm. But then I asked myself, “ if I am able to do hair, make up & wardrobe styling to & for those who are alive, would I be able to do what I already do to human remains/decedents?” I went back and forth for a while because I was scared & confused. But that Shawanna is gone. Once I prayed & thought hard and long, God showed me the extra love that I didn’t know I had- consoling and helping others in a different way that I can share who He is to me to everyone else around me. I got over my fear and since then (2014)I have been traveling & working with different funeral homes & families in slaying their loved ones. So now, I’ll be advertising more of my work within THIS field. Loving this 𝓢𝓱𝓪𝔀𝓪𝓷𝓷𝓪 💁🏽‍♀️ . .
