As I opened up my phone, I saw all of the sweet beautiful Easter photos from everyone. And for a second I felt a little pit in my stomach of pity over myself. I questioned, when will my time get here? As quickly as I was filled with doubt, and jealousy, I immediately then thought— soon I’ll have a family of my own to take cute pictures with, cook for & host for on Easter and other holidays. _ Yesterday I baked cookies, took pictures of my dogs with confetti and meal prepped for the week. I am as joyful as I am hopeful. Jesus rose again. He made all things new. God is more than a redeemer—He is a resurrector! He revives what once was dead. He gives life where life was no more! He fixes, He mends, and He restores.
