galaxies: what are three things you want to do before you die?

Hmmmm... I think... I want to write and illustrate a book, be able to work at an animation studio, and be able to raise a child!

full moon: what type of person do you hope to be?

Someone who always tries to be better and kinder. Someone who tries to understand and can always be there to listen and be a friend. Not a perfect person, just a kind one.

soothe: what's one thing that always makes you feel better when you're upset?

Mmm... probably a cuddle session with a big blanket and my idiot schnauzer! Always works!

ok i have to know - morning and evening are definitely very educated immortal women who seem very smart, but are there any aspects of the mortal world that they just don't really *get*? like wifi or cell phones or comicon u feel me

Damn what a great question!!! Thank you so much for asking!!!  As always cut for length because I cannot be contained.

Morning uh, probably could use a computer? If she absolutely needed to? She knows the gist of how but she wouldn't do it unless forced to and good luck forcing her. She had a cellphone for a while, but used like everyone's older relatives did where it sat in her dresser uncharged the majority of the time. She wouldn't hold conversations over it, just state her message and then hang up.

Neither of them can drive. At all. Morning has driven, and knows how it works, but the car does not work properly for more than a few minutes when she is behind the wheel and most of the time the engine sputters out pretty immediately. The only heir who has her license is Aurora.  Morning and Evening would not get on a plane so they have no idea if they could.

But outside of technology and ~operating or being locked in giant metal machines~, the human stuff they mostly don’t “get” are things that are attached to very human qualities.  Like they get gift giving traditions, what they don’t understand is why people wrap the gifts.  Or why you must surprise someone with it.  

Evening in particular has never really been able to grasp a lot of creative pursuits. She has a deep appreciation for beauty generally, but doesn't understand how people like her sister and mother can take nothing and make it something. So when she's confronted with the ways that mortals bring art and creativity to their surroundings -- just for the fun of it, she kinda does one of these.

Like sidewalk chalk confused the hell out of her and still kinda does. The fact that people spend hours of their life when they're mortals to draw some pictures to go underneath their feet, that will then be washed away in the rain in a few days? She tries not to think too hard about it.

I don't think anyone in this family gets comic-con.

RQOTD: What is one thing your OC would like to change about themselves?

Hesper has a few scars she wishes she could get rid of.  She tries to hide them most of the time, they upset her.  Unfortunately due to the circumstances around when she got those scars, there isn’t anything that can be done to fix them.

so we know rory has beef for obvious reasons, but how would morning's other 4 children have described her parenting abilities?

Well you've all met Autumn. She was Rhubarb's favourite, and was completely spoiled. She did feel Morning was too permissive and always secretly craved her attention.  Autumn believed her parents weren't perfect, but she thought the overall success of her and her siblings spoke for itself.  

Daybreak was a mama’s boy, so he would have said his mother was a lovely person and an amazing mother. But he said it with much more confidence after she “died”.  

Sundown would have said his mother became a mother because she didn't know what else to do. He wished he and his siblings had better, and remained bitter about this for his entire life. He missed her after she “died”. Summer agrees mostly with Sundown except she isn't bitter about it. She liked the fact that she had total freedom at all times.  She thinks her parents were fine, if kinda absent.  

Prism is the youngest and feels Morning was more of the 'cool aunt' than her mother, and Autumn was the strict one who handled most of 'mother' type things. She loved Morning, but would not describe herself as close with her.

RQOTD: What does the color red remind your character of? What do they associate with that color?

Sav's mom was Posey, so the colour red used to always remind her of her mother, specifically the beautiful bright red piano she owned. Sav was never musically talented, but Bram is. When she thought of red, it used to be her mother's head hunched over that piano. Then she met her son, and now the colour red makes her think of Bram's hair, hunched over the red and orange guitar his grandmother got him for his tenth birthday.
