People tend to look to others for inspiration or motivation. Billions of dollars are spent every year by those seeking to improve themselves and make a difference in the world. Some motivational speakers command $25,000 and more for an hour's speech!
There is certainly nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself. Too often, however, we fail to notice our own light. There are people around you that need the light you have. You have gifts and abilities that can bring light to someone's dark world. Even a small light seems bright in the dark!
Jesus said, "Ye are the light of the world". Trust your light. Do not hide it any longer. Let it behind as bright as possible and so draw others to Christ and glorify God!
