The real reason Capcom hasn't released a new Megaman game is because THEY BETRAYED AND TRAPPED MEGAMAN IN A LIGHT CAPSULE FOR A MILENIA!!!
Megaman X and female reader
Imagine X meeting a human female that cares about reploid rights and she’s into robotics/sci fi and they both precious happy cinnamonrolls blushing over everything and their energy, excitement, and passion about life shows!
And everyone finding out that X has a crush at Hunter base is the absolute most precious thing on this planet. Everyone keeps teasing him, and Axl has no chill. Even Signas joins in the friendly banter.
When X goes into a light capsule: “D....Dr.Light, I know you created me to protect the humans; but there’s this particular human I want to keep safe all the time. Whenever she’s around, she makes me smile and my face heats up. It seems we enjoy each-other’s company; she has the same reaction and we can never seem to stay apart. I finish all my hunting duties early so I can spend more time with her. What....is this f...feeling?”
Dr. Light is tearing up saying to X “they grow up so fast....that’s my boy!!” and then gives X dating advice.
Hologram humans from the past are a lot shorter than I thought!
X has finally built that capsule!!
And man, it’s big. I was hoping it would fit on my shelf with all my D-Arts figures, but it’s too tall! Guess I have some rearranging or adjusting to do.
I still don’t intend to pull my First Armor X out of his hadouken pose, so this will be X4 Ultimate Christmas Tree Armor’s home instead. Even if the capsule doesn’t glow green like that version.
Sure, I probably could do a little paint touchup to this, but I liked how little assembly was needed for this sweet display case. For the most part, I’m good with leaving it as is for now.
Only problem I had was one of the LED lights (for the top) is extremely dim and probably busted. But they’re just those cheap little push circle lights, and I probably can pick up replacements for like a dollar or two. It’s maybe a little bit of an inconvenience to pull the figure and the glass floor out to turn on the light whenever I’d want it on, but it really is such an ingenious creation, that’s it’s no big deal.
I’ve got a little time off from work now, so I hope I can finally get a few more Hobby Rock kits started, if not fully painted and assembled, this upcoming week.
I’m still just so psyched I actually have a capsule display!! This thing is just so cool! XD
Build this capsule, X.
This fully-assembled model kit will allow you to pose dramatically inside this capsule replica, making it appear that you have received all your armor pieces, and lighting up in a super cool way!
But maybe don’t choose your D-Arts First Armor to go in there, because then you can’t stay in your awesome hadouken pose.
Good luck, X.
Dammit, I’m out of super glue! Dammit, I need 6 AAA Batteries!
Build this capsule on another day, X...at least you don’t have to paint it.
Mega Man Light Capsule by Andrew Butterworth Seattle based artist Andrew Butterworth has created Dr. Light's "Light Capsule" for the upcoming Mega Man Boss Battle show in San Francisco. It looks amazing in person and is a true homage to the franchise. Andrew had the following to say about the project: This piece was printed on solid white PLA filament using a replicator 2 from makerbot. It was first modeled in Maya using the original SNES sprite as reference. I got the idea of using the pepper's ghost technique after talking to a friend who has done similar art installations on a much larger scale. Once printing was done, I got to sit down, relax and paint. It reminded me of building model airplanes on my mom's kitchen table. The movie was all taken from a sprite sheet and animated in After Effects. If you get to see the piece in person there is an cool easter egg animation loop. Anyone that has ever played and cleared Mega Man X will get it. We recommend stopping by and saying hello to Andrew and checking out the upcoming show. Opening: Saturday March 2, 2013 from 7pm-10pm. Where: Gauntlet Gallery, San Francisco. http://www.gauntletgallery.com
