The cafe only had one cake pop left in the display case, and Atsuki was determined to get it. He’d just been thrust into a new city, he was miserable, and all he wanted was a stupid cake pop.
Atsuki had his eye on it, but then the stranger in line ahead of him ordered it. He stared in horror as the man in front of him was handed the cake pop, then lightly tapped him on the shoulder.
“Hey. I’ll pay you $20 for that cake pop.”
