What a feeling -- one he'd only felt once before, and quite a while ago at that, but it wasn't one that he could easily forget either even if he had wanted to. In fact, Xehanort still couldn't shake the memories of that meeting from his mind, and in the end had resorted to surpressing them, putting them away for later and trying to pretend they didn't exist.
"I had almost started to believe I wouldn't see you again." He had almost started to hope he wouldn't see him again. In fact, as time had gone on, he'd nearly forgotten the other, or at least surpressed his memories of that short incident and packed them away to the back of his mind. "Yet here you are, aren't you?" Gloved hands clenched at the boy's side, revealing a small amount of his strain. He wouldn't lash out this time -- that was unlikely. It was possible that he even felt a bit of regret for what he had done. Would he say that? Probably not.
"So what is it? Did we simply chance upon one another or...?" A pause. "Trivial matters. You seem to be doing... alright, Eraqus. Do correct me if I am wrong."
