LIGHT . It was something Lucian was so dangerously intimate with -- except his own was the opposite of the comforts hers radiated. His light was a righteous justice, a burning brightness that refused to dance with the shadows as her own did; his radiance chased the darkness away, made it cower at his very presence.
But while most others whispered his name, Lux was someone who didn’t seem wary of who he was. He respected that, and in turn he made an attempt to be reasonable despite his cold demeanor. In a way, her optimism reminded him of Senna. Lucian stood, proud yet somewhat at ease considering who he was wish.

She may have meant her words in a literal sense, while he figuratively existed in a complementary way, though at the end of the tunnel they may have been more similar than most could observe.
