second ever post and onto my current project: Lightning Overion. very excited about this atm

Lightning Overion is a comic story I'm working on that follows Joel, a young man who is convinced he has developed electricity powers and that he can use them to help the people he cares about. Unfortunately, no one believes him - whether it be about the powers or their usefulness and safety. Double unfortunately, his power isn't actually electricity: it's grounding. He's simply an extremely conductive lightning rod.

After an emotional encounter leaves him permanently scarred, Joel is found by Heron, who reluctantly offers to take him under his wing. He's cool, competent, and has his life together - everything Joel aspires to. Heron is also a diviner, but he can only see the present - which is probably why he could never predict the storm Joel gets them into.
