Day 28 “Proposal”

Ral had been planning a grand proposal for months, but he’s always so worried about the timing that he never goes through with it. Tomik decides to take the matter into his own hands, he takes Ral on to one of their favorite secret spots and as the sun sets he pops the question.

Day 25 “Soulmates” For the Orzhov, love does not end with death. I wanted to do more of a classical approach to soulmates. Where a pair of souls are fated to be together, sometimes through multiple lives or into the afterlife. Orzhov ghosts make it super sweet!

Day 29 “Marriage” The marriage between the Izzet guild leader and high ranking Orzhov advokist is the biggest news on Ravnica for weeks. Niv Mizzet, the guildpact, himself showed up… but couldn’t fit inside the huge church… (I want Ral and Tomik to have a big Orzhov wedding ;_;)

Day 24 “College” Tomik is bad at calc so he gets a student tutor to try and bring his GPA up. The problem is the tutor ends up being the guy he’s crushing hard on. Meanwhile Ral is trying very hard to impress him because Ral has been into him since they saw each other at the LGBT Organization meeting.

Day 26 “Cyberpunk”

I ended up creating an entire AU.... 

The government is run by an allied Orzhov-Azorius. Meanwhile the other guilds are a mixture of gangs and resistance fighters trying to apply pressure to the authoritarian government. Ral is the leader of the Izzet, previously the second hand of Niv Mizzet until his assassination. Tomik is the personal assistant of Teysa, an Orzhov politician. Tomik switches sides to help unite the warring gangs and take down the dystopian regime... Though he didn’t plan on falling in love with the Izzet leader along the way. 

Ral takes to calling Tomik “little advokist” and showing him the wild side of life.

A bunch of random Ral/Tomik headcanons

* kisses hello, goodnight, goodmorning, goodbye, all the time

* Ral cooks and is actually pretty good at it. He likes to treat tomik to fancy meals. One of ral’s daily goals is to get finished up in the lab fast enough so he can go and surprise tomik with dinner.

* Ral fell in love with Tomik really fast but spent a long time denying it. He can’t let anyone know he has FEELINGS.

* Tomik’s parents are very protective ghosts and gave Ral the Orzhov shovel talk “if you hurt him we will haunt you and raise your taxes”

* Ral little spoon

* Ral calls Tomik by a lot of terms of endearment but only when they’re alone. Tomik calls Ral “weather boy”. Ral pretends he hates it.

* Ral works late at night in their apartment sometimes. Just tinkering away at some devices. Tomik is sleepy but wants to stay up to talk to Ral and hear his dumb jokes, but he always ends up falling asleep while cuddling Ral. Ral lets him sleep even though he needs to get up and grab a tool or pee.

* Ral comes home angry about guild affairs pretty often. Tomik helps calm him down by telling Ral all of the legal ways he can make the people who annoy Ral’s life a living hell. Other times he calms Ral down in sexier ways.

* They hold hands during sex. Ral is also super easy to fluster and Tomik turns him into a staticy mess.

* They really are the worst kept secret in Ravnica. Niv mizzet teases Ral about it constantly now. Pretty much everyone knows... except Jace. Jace is completely oblivious. One day one of the other Gatewatch members casually mention how Tomik and Ral are cute together and Jace is absolutely shocked that Ral has managed to have a stable relationship. Ral. Of all people.

* Ral gets invited to a bunch of formal occasions because of being the Izzet guild leader. He formally takes Chandra as his +1 and they giggle when other people come up to them and congratulate Ral for having such a beautiful lady. Tomik is usually separately invited along too and he sneaks a slow dance with Ral.

* Tomik is supposed to remind Ral to shave but he likes Ral’s stubble so he “forgets”.

* Tomik keeps a locket with an old picture of Ral and him from their first date in it.

* Ral has a lot of notes scattered around the apartment. Ral doodles bad drawings of himself punching nicol bolas and little drawings of Tomik surrounded by hearts. One day Tomik adds a realistic drawing of Ral next to a doodle of himself because i would be lonely without you.

* Ral makes Tomik a bunch of tiny trinkets and devices and brings them home to surprise him.

* Tomik is like a grandpa when it comes to technology and has to get Ral to help him all the time.

* Tomik wakes up every single day at 5:00 am on the dot. Ral is NOT a morning person and whines nooo Tomik don’t go you were so warm. Tomik tucks Ral back in after he gets up.
