3 and 11 for the ask prompt!
3. Are there any fics that inspired you to write what you do?
Oh boy. OH BOY. So, it is no secret that literally, the reason the AU exists is because Against the Moon stopped updating. Literally I had no more satisfying outlet for my Marauders love and so... I wrote Gryffindor Blood. And that was the beginning of the end for me.
I love the collaborative nature of fanfiction, and it's so hard to pin down where I draw inspiration from when I'm constantly working with and engaging with other writers and artists. I can almost feel buggachat, ThornQueen, and MiniMinou's influence as I write Ladybug fic. Part of why I haven't read HP fic since I began the AU is because I'm so weak to other artists' influence. I just love what other people do so much it bleeds into my own writing.
11. How do you come up with your fic titles?
You know my favorite part of the AU? Stolen titles. One of the reasons each chapter (mostly) sticks close to canon is so that I can change as little about the title as possible.
But when I do have to change a title, I literally sit down and make a list. I identify what the chapter is about, key elements of the chapter, objects that stand out, large themes. These are straight out of my Deathly Hallows Notes as I planned chapter titles for chapters that were dramatically different from canon, and you can see the process of identifying details and themes and paring them down into titles.

Crafting titles is one of my least favorite parts of a story, especially Chapter Titles, but it’s an important one. I’ll often bounce ideas off of a beta reader to get some insight as well.
