Noctis had been told that a couple of Turks were returning from a mission, some that he hadn’t yet been introduced to. It was why he made the effort to come in early and make sure that he was there to greet them when they got there. Of course he’d been called up by Rufus Shinra, a question he had to answer. A question that had turned into a discussion which had made him late. At least taking the elevator back had him with someone else, even if they needed to stop at what seemed like every floor. Bonus points cause he snagged a coffee from the man’s office before he’d left
