Despite always wanting to seem as old and wise as she can when she’s around Elves ( for they are all so elegant and wise ) the young princess can’t help but be more than a little taken aback by Galadriel’s words. The Lady of Lothlórien is by far the wisest and most beautiful woman – or being of any gender or species – that Sigrid has ever met, and simply being around her gives the princess a sense of awe. “ I didn’t know anything could vex you, ” she hears herself saying before she’s even quite aware of the words slipping off her tongue out loud.
