Noelani doesn’t remember much about her parents. She was young when they died and she quickly found herself in the foster system. Luckily for her she didn’t last long there since she was adopted by the time she was six. Yara found herself in the mist of a mixed family and was surprised by the different species that made up the family. It took her a while to adjust to everyone but soon she saw everyone as family and grew to care about them.
As she got older she learned more about what she was through research, her family and other nymphs that she came across. She grew to understand her powers more and what it meant to be a water nymph. Her acceptance of herself came from her family and caused her to be open and try new things. Noelani found out what she liked and what she didn’t which lead her to find out that she enjoyed cooking.
She ended up going to culinary arts school with the encouragement of her family and friends. Once she graduated from there she got odd jobs in restaurants and at events around the world. When the supernatural were revealed to the world she headed back to Canada for safety and to be with her family. She was able to get a job as apart of Lights Camera Magic Studios craft services. She uses her position to test out new recipes that she’s learned while abroad.
She spent a few months there before getting an email from someone stating that they were related to her. After looking into it she found out that her bio mother had a few siblings that lived in France. Finding herself curious about her bio family for the first time ever she decided to head over there.
While there she ended up in a relationship that resulted in her having a baby. Despite the fact that she was in love with the guy she realized that he wasn’t fully an upstanding guy and didn’t want any of the consequences of his actions falling back on her or her daughter. So after spending some time thinking she decided to head back home to Canada.

Right from the get-go, Roxanne’s life was a rollercoaster. She was found bundled in a blanket coated in blood and surrounded by a litter of slaughtered bodies by two hikers moving up the Cradle Mountain in Tasmania, Australia. The discovery made headline news for weeks as investigations went underway to figure out what exactly happened and why the traumatized 4-year-old was the only survivor. The hikers who found her were Australian councillors for the educational research programme. They were also a young couple who had been struggling for three years to conceive a child of their own. With only a knitted blanket with her name, Roxanne to go on, officials followed medical records from the deceased. From there and discovered that she was Roxanne Taylor and the litter of dead around her included all living members of her family, parents and several extended members. Unable to let Roxanne fall prey to the system, the wealthy couple went through every legal channel they had to until finally, almost a year later, permission was granted for them to legally adopt her, and so, Roxanne Taylor, as they chose to keep her surname out of respect for her lost family, now had two new people to call family.
The transition into her new life left her non-verbal and naturally, still traumatized by her ordeal. She saw psychologists three times a week but the only way she communicated was through pictures, which most of the time was only red crayon that represented the bloodshed she could still remember so clearly. Strangely enough, though, Roxanne took to her adopted parents very well, presumably recognising them as her saviours. It was everyone else she was grossly petrified of. Any time she would see someone in a black hoodie she became inconsolable and hysterical with terror. To say she had issues would be an understatement and yet, the couple never once lost patience with her, which turned out to be Roxannes saving grace. After three more long years and nightmares every night, something happened that nobody ever expected. The couple fell pregnant and birthed a baby boy. Worried that Roxanne wouldn’t accept him into the fold, a team of psychologists were on call when the couple came home with the little baby in their arms. It came as a surprise to everyone in the room when her face lit up with joy not only did she present them with a family drawing that included the baby, she spoke her first word in three years: brother. It was a shocking breakthrough and from there on, things started looking up. Her trauma faded more and more into the background with every week that went by and Roxanne slowly began to resemble what people would say is a normal child, happy, kind and loving.
She doted on her parents and her brother and enjoyed travelling around the world whilst they worked, Africa, Aisa, India, Dubai, there was nothing Roxanne wanted that she wasn’t offered. So you could say, she lived happily ever after but of course, happiness as pure as that would always be short-lived. She was thirteen when she accidentally shifted into a caracal (wild cat) that she had found herself studying earlier that day. And of course, she didn’t shift in private, but in the middle of a hotel lobby whilst they were in Africa. Traumatized all over again, everything she’d suppressed by her glowing love came bubbling back to the surface. The difference this time? Her parents had absolutely no idea how to comfort her and Roxanne has never forgotten that flicker of fear in their eyes when they saw her shift. Logically she can understand it, but in her head she can’t help but see it as a betrayal. She began to notice that although they tried not to treat her differently, they did. She was no longer allowed to be alone in the same room as her little brother and if she ever threw a tantrum, the parents would stiffen up as if they feared she was going to shift into a tiger and rip them apart. And then it hit her, one earth-shattering thought that she’d never even considered before: they think I’m the beast who tore my biological family apart. No amount of family therapy sessions managed to convince her that they still accepted and loved her the way they used to even in spite of their research and ongoing adoration. With the discovery of another shapeshifter and a meeting with him, the parents learned everything they needed to know about what Roxanne was and how to deal with it. So, by sixteen she supposed she could appreciate that they were actually trying, but the damage in her mind was already done.
The sweet, innocent girl began to slip away, replaced by a rebellious, law-breaking, drug-taking, alcohol drinking teenager. She did whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted and the worst part? She was so incredibly crafty about it, nearly always managing to hide her antics from her parents. It was easy enough considering they never questioned the money she spent, even when it cost thousands. Roxanne did manage to complete an acting school course, figuring that’s what she wanted to do with her life. Dressing up and pretending to be someone she isn’t? Easy, she does it all the time. She landed small-time roles here and there but it wasn’t until 2018 and the worldwide reveal of supernaturals that she felt her calling: Vancouver. A place she could be herself, a place she could fit in. It didn’t take much to persuade her parents to let her leave Australia and set up home in Canada, especially not after they discovered her drug habits, some might say they were secretly pleased she wouldn’t be leaving her drugs around their home anymore. Roxanne moved in the fall of 2018, landing her first role at LCM studios only a couple months after that. Once more, things began to look up, for the first time in her life she felt like she belonged to something. The move only inspired her to learn more about her supernatural status and everything about everyone else along the way. Her two shift forms are a caracal and an owl and she enjoys the freedom that comes from being in her animal forms.
She’s still not without her issues and by now? It shows. Whilst most people know her as someone who will do anything for you, they also know she tends to be a reckless adrenalin junkie. Or maybe just a junkie in general. Over the last two years, she’s checked herself in and out of rehab three times, never sticking out the duration. Her party antics made headlines and all it would take was one phone call from home and the disappointed tone of her parents to make her go even further off the rails. It seemed a miracle to people that she still had a job but Roxanne always assumed that actually, the heat she generated in the press only made for better TV. Besides, she was smart enough not to show up to her job high as a kite so really, did anyone really have grounds to fire her? By 25, she never thought she would have all the labels she does; shifter, actress, spoilt brat, reckless, junkie and most commonly: wild. Roxanne cares for few but loves fiercely and doesn’t hold back on her opinions. If she has an issue, she will say it to your face no matter the consequences. She is however incredibly loyal and fun-loving, always sparking off energy and bouncing from person to person. Her traumatic history was aired for everyone to read so really, it’s no wonder hardly anyone actually questions why she uses. She uses to escape, forget her trauma like so many others in the studio. Only time will tell if it will one day be the ruin of her.

Carter was the young golden boy you read about or see on TV shows, handsome, athletic, not very smart but with good intentions and a good heart. He was born in a small town in Massachusetts and wanted to get out of there, he was the football star and dreamt with making it into the NFL, the first set back came when he was graduating High School and most schools told him that yes, he was very talented but he was also too short for the Quarterback position and should perhaps consider becoming a runner but Carter was not a quitter, he’d be a Quarterback and prove them all wrong.
A small college, East Mississippi Community College, the starts of the NJCAA recruited him and while it wasn’t the NCAA, it could get him there if he proved himself. Everything was going according to plan, he was doing good, classes were alright, he was slowly becoming the star of not only the team but his numbers were better than everyone else’s in the conference. There was a reason why the teams in the NJCAA were called last chance teams, his teammates were a lot of talented people that had either blown their spots at the big teams because of things like drugs or character or crime and Carter had been able to avoid getting involved in that kind of things while at EMCC.
During his Junior year of College, some of his teammates convinced him to join them in celebrating his birthday and Spring Break in Florida, it had been a crazy week, he had found her almost right away, she moved amazing and was the hottest girl around, he had been wasted but he vaguely remembered her talking about supernatural stuff, to be fair Carter thought she was high off her ass but she was hot so he just smiled and nodded his head, he wasn’t going to screw his chances of getting laid.
After that week Carter didn’t think much of it and went back to business as usual, however around 11 months later, there was a knock on her dorm room and a familiar but disheveled woman came knocking into his door, it took him a moment to remember but then she began talking about spring break and Florida and pregnancy and work and Canada and literally shoved a blonde baby girl in his arms and left… He had been pretty sure she said she’d be back.
After a couple of months Carter started believing she wasn’t going to come back but still he hoped, taking care of a kid, alone in school and playing Football was hard, eventually he had to drop out, move back with his parents and get a job at his dad’s shop fixing cars.
Then news of the Supernatural broke out and Carter panicked but he didn’t know what to do, he hardly even remembered her name. He had always being a fan of super hero movies and TV shows, so one day he clicked on some new show that seemed interesting enough After the Storm, he almost fainted when he saw her.
Determined he took all his savings, strapped the baby into her carseat and drove to Vancouver, however getting into a studio set wasn’t easy no matter how much you claimed you just wanted to return a baby and stalking out wasn’t a better idea either, so he decided to apply for a job, they told him being a PA was often all about connections but the moment he finally got an interview he charmed his way into getting the job, he wasn’t planning on staying long enough anyway.

Hayden Scott hated taking her meds. She was on just about everything- mood stabilizers, antidepressants, anxiety-relief medication- you name it and it was constantly changing. She knew treatment was an ongoing basis. But, the trial and error of different drugs after coming down from an episode and the endless therapy and group sessions never seemed to get much better. She missed feeling normal; waking up and not feeling drowsy or foggy like everything is underwater. She didn’t develop onset bipolar disorder until her mid-teens. But before that she was your average bright and semi-hyperactive kid.
Born by the name Guinevere H. Turner, she grew up in a big house with parents who weren’t around much, but when they were, they never seized to spoil her. When she was 5 and asked for pony, her mother didn’t think twice before writing the check. She’d be one of the first to have the newest clothes or tech and her birthdays used to be blown-out events.
Even as a kid she was aware it was outlandish, but in their own kind of way, it was how they showed their love. A barbie dream house or puppy was an apology for not being around enough or for her mom having to ‘take an unexpected trip to the spa’. And even though her mother was typically always in ‘manager’ mode around her and her dad was always traveling for work, the child-actress was never truly alone. Not when she had Allison Todd, their family maid and the woman who practically raised her. She taught her how to tie her shoes, helped her with her with her splits, and always had the best stories. She loved having Allison around, having someone to depend on outside of the flighty Stage Mom that was her mother. And Allison had a daughter who was only a few years older than her. Jae would often come over, doing her homework in their kitchen or helping her mom around the house. They quickly became fast friends.
They might have been on rival gymnastics and cheer teams, with Hayden going to the local private school and Jae public, but it didn’t stop them from practicing together. They were inseparable. They were family. They were her world. But, life has a way of shattering the world you once knew.
As Hayden started high school, her behavior started to become more erratic. She was restless, had trouble concentrating and her sleeping patterns kept on changing. Her life was going great. She had just made captain of the cheer team and landed a hit role in a drama. She was overly excited and full of this endless amount of energy. She felt on top of the world. One minute she was celebrating with the cute boy she had a crush on at school and the next thing she knew, he had passed out while inside of her. That’s when the crash happened. She found out she was a nymph who might have taken after her mother when it came to having bipolar disorder all at once. She felt overwhelmed and empty. She didn’t want to move let alone think. She locked herself away in her bedroom for almost a month, sometimes completely dissociating or mumbling to herself. They told the school she had mono just like they had told her growing that her mother was off at some spa and not some treatment center. And things started to feel okay again for the most part.
She went back to school and played it off like the boy had fell asleep during sex instead of the truth- that she had stolen some of his lust from him. She went back to cheer, less energetic now than before, but she held it together. She spent hours hanging out with Jae as if nothing had happened, as if maybe she had only been sick. But, she soon realized normal would never be a constant in her life no matter how hard she tried, because as soon as she started settle into a routine again, hunters broke in to her home and broke her part her family.
Men with guns surrounded the house. Allison had just enough time to ushers the kids to safety before they came for her too. Her parents, the staff- their screams clung in the air. One by one, Jae and her had to listen to them being picked off. But, then it stopped. The horrified girl felt like she might just be able to breath again. But, before she could, Jae went back. They were both supposed to get out. They were told to get each other to safety to call for help maybe? As hopeless as that seemed. But, Jae wanted to save her mom and Hayden couldn’t bring herself to step foot back in that house.
That day for her would forever feel like some bad dream. She never saw Jae again, but from what the cops said there was no one in the house when they finally showed up. No one alive anyways. After loosing her parents, the girl stayed with her Uncle and Aunt. Her cousin, Allie, was like a sister to her. They looked after each other and protected each other for whatever the future might and bring. And Hayden went on with her life. She started going by her stage name, Hayden Scott, full time. Hayden for her middle name and Scott for her mother’s maiden name. Guinevere Turner became no more than a distant memory as Hayden became a household name.
She might not have completely escaped scandal- she was still the actress with the occasional erratic behavior, she’d show up late or not show up sometimes to set at all, she’d be photographed at parties and even had a fake public relationship or two- but, she wasn’t known for the death of her parents or a mental illness she had never chosen to have and that was alright with her.

Jordan Wyatt wasn’t born Jordan Wyatt, before that his last name used to be Presley. He was born on May 5th, a couple of minutes after his twin sister Heather was born and a couple of months later their father and mother died in a tragic accident. They were adopted by the Presley who were close friends with the twins’ parents. Growing up they had a close-knit family, with encouraging and loving parents.
Jordan loved his parents and his sisters but he particularly admired their older sister, Jackie. She loved music and helped Jordan discover his love for it and followed her dreams, which encouraged him to do the same… He just didn’t think she’d leave them behind in the process of chasing after her dreams.
While Jackie was busy workin and chasing her dreams, Jordan and Heather grew even closer, it felt like it was them against the world and Jordan could see how much Heather struggled to try and keep up with Jackie, always comparing herself to her, for Jordan it wasn’t that Jackie shined brigther but that they shined differently and then it happened, Jackie killed Heather… He knew that it hadn’t been her intention, he knew that but still, he knew but couldn’t understand, couldn’t wrap his head about it.
He had read once that twins are two halves of the same soul and he had lost his, he felt empty and alone, his parents tried to help him out but he just couldn’t handle it, mentally or emotionally and so he turned to drugs, it started with alcohol and then weed and it quickly escalated to other kind of substances until he ended up taking V and it was that what eventually brought him down.
He met a vampire that offered to let him get it from the source, which was a really weird to him but he only cared about the hype, that night was a little blurry, she drank from him, he drank from her and when he woke up he was a vampire.
Being turned only increased his issues with substances, since he could no longer die or get high directly, he began feeding from drunk and drugged people, which is he how ended up working in the industry, since there was as much drugs as there was coffee if not more.
