The buckles are tough, the neck is removable and the face mask attaches to the neck. I particularly like the belly strap as it's all velcro to attach, and buckles so nothing can get between the rug and the stomach. You have a choice of leg straps or fillet string. I have used the leg straps today. My only meh is the tail flap, I like them long, particularly with crab flies around.
