It had a while since the two had went on their more intimate adventures. Out of Astarions choice. He wanted to be close to her, he wanted to share those moments together. But he just couldn't.. ti was far too tainted as of right now. After every moment he felt.. like he wasn't able to truly be there like he should. So they put a pause on it for now. Hearing her mention Halsins request he couldn't help but laugh. Of course he did such a thing. "I could of guessed." He spoke. Reaching out and grabbing her hand. "If.. that is what you want. Then of course.." The spawn answered. "As long as its not because.. you know-- we haven't.. in a while?"

It was obvious something else was bugging Astarion. But he kept that to himself. Until Tatithra did a bit of coaxing. "I know you're frustrated, 'cause I will not let you touch me.." There was a pause. Like he was about to say more.. but instead just left the silence in hang in the air.

an uneasy feeling nestled within his chest as she looked up at him. was it guilt she felt? her words indicate something more, as if she had strayed from the path of their spider queen. xvilnar frowns down at her.

“   ph'udos? ” are we? are they better than their teachings? it would not be his place to question the spider queen's way, silent as she has been these past few weeks.

killing goblins was fun, but their simple minds, tendency towards subservience and habitual violence made them pathetic. easy prey. why not have a little fun? when were they gifted such opportunities these days? where before, they would raid, pillage and plunder surface villages for the sake of satisfying a passing whim.

“   it's easy, you know. you just have to let your body do the work. stop this thing from spiralling, ” he gestures with his thumb to his temple, a mind that was adept at agonizing over the details of right and wrong at every turn.

"Well," Astarion held his hands out. Looking at the group around him. Locking eyes with his lover. "I think he likes us." He spoke in a matter-of-fact tone. He seemed like he was going to wait until someone said something but well.. Astarion kept talking.

"I think we should keep it in mind.. I mean.. he seems sure we won't find anything." He placed a finger against his chin and hummed. It didn't take long for Wyll to chime in. Warning everyone about making a deal with a devil. Why did he seem so.. educated in it? "I still think we should keep it in mind." He wasn't listening, honestly. He had stopped a while ago.

There was a sadness in Astarions eyes as he considered everything. Had he ascended.. what could have happened? Would he have become just like Cazador? Or possibly worse?

"I know.. my darling," He whispered, reaching over and grabbing her hand. Bringing it to his lips he kissed her knuckles. "Who knows what i could of became.. or done.." Astarion answered. "But you stopped all that.. and I thank you for it.."

"Oops." Lyrthindor repeats, looking more exasperated than truly bothered by the sight of the corpse.

"I'll get rid of it, you get rid of the blood." Lady Shar have mercy, the last thing he wanted to be doing right now was doing someone elses dirty work. Regardless, it would be best not to just leave it like this, lest it attract unwanted attention.

With a slight struggle, he drags the body over to the nearest manhole of the city, thankfully still in the same allyway, forces up the metal lid and kicks the body down. The muscle in his arms screamed at the exertion, having not had to move anything that heavy in some time, let alone two things.

Astarion wanted to try something new in the bedroom. Which included tying up Tatithra. As he tied the knots he couldn't help but chuckle as she attempted to convince him not to.

"You'll enjoy it trust me, darling.." He muttered against her lips as he softly kissed her. "I know you'll be good.. You always are for me.. Aren't you?" He caressed her chin. rubbing his thumb against her lips before sliding his finger in her mouth. "You know you did originally agree to this.."

               𝐇𝐈𝐒   𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐄𝐑   𝐈𝐒   𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓   𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃   𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍.   Not  an  intentional  slight  against  their  resident  wizard-chef,  of  course  ;  simply  the  unfortunate  result  of  numb  tastebuds.  Puck  either  devours  his  meals  in  a  single  bite,  avoiding  flavor  entirely,  or  (  more  often  than  not,  these  days  )  he  sneakily  offers  scraps  to  Scratch  &  the  owlbear  cub.

He  attempts  to  do  just  that  tonight,  glancing  up  at  his  companions  around  the  campfire  to  gauge  their  attentions.  Some  people  get  annoyed  with  him  for  wasting  food  on  animals.  They  are  lucky  he  doesn't  feed  them  to  the  animals,  so  really,  they  shouldn't  complain.

Don't  be  ridiculous.  It  wouldn't  be  the  animals  being  fed.

Luckily,  no  one  seems  to  pay  him  any  mind,  so  he  is  free  to  nudge  his  full  plate  towards  Scratch  without  much  finesse  on  his  part.  At  least,  that  is  what  he  thinks  at  first. The  hairs  on  the  back  of  his  neck  rise,  one  of  his  ears  twitching  in  agitation.  Someone  is  watching  him.

Puck's  head  whips  up  with  a  jolt.  Across  camp,  he  sees  that  thing  again.  Outline  barely  illuminated  by  the  firelight,  his  self-proclaimed  butler  lingers  in  the  distance  for  a  moment  before  Puck  blinks,  and  he  disappears  without  a  trace.

              Oh,  He  Has  Fucking  Had  It  With  That  Creature.

Turning  to  Tatithra,  the  closest  companion  who  had  the  misfortune  of  sitting  next  to  him,  Puck  speaks  for  the  first  time  since  they  returned  to  camp  that  day,

              ❝  You  haven't  happened  to  see  a  grotesque,  little  worm  of  a  man  in  a  funny  hat  looming  around  camp, have you  ？Or  maybe  even,  say  .  .  .  over  your  bedroll  at  night ？Or  is  this  just  my  burden  to  bear  ？❞

There  is  an  uncharacteristic  amount  of  disdain  laced  in  his  tone  &  the  way  his  lip  curls.  A  foul  taste  builds in  his  mouth,  and  he  didn't  even  eat  anything.

Something was.. burning within Astarion. Maybe it was the adrenaline running through him after the fight. Or maybe it was the fact Tati was going off in his ear. He was listening.. in the beginning. But then his mind drifted off and round eyes turned more pointed. More seductive. Full of lust. Reaching out he stopped her hand from cleaning her wound. Leaning forward he placed a gentle kiss upon her lips. How he craved so much more. "You almost got yourself killed." Astarion hissed. His voice was full of irritation but more importantly, worry. Shoving her back into the floor he began slowly crawling over her body. "You weren't thinking straight. Not even trying to." Using his knee, he hooked it under her leg and pushed it up. Forcing her legs to spread open. "What if I wasn't there to save you? Hm, darling?" The vampire questioned. Placing one gentle kiss upon her neck, almost in apology before biting down roughly. Fangs sinking into the soft skin.
