As for a normal explanation about the BACC: BACC stands for Build A City Challenge. And that's exactly what the goal is. Building up a city starting with (almost) nothing. To unlock new things you need to complete something first. For example: you start off-the-grid and to unlock electricity you need to have a sim max their handiness. Do you want to build a park? You need 3 Families living in your world and have a sim max the Gardening skill. You can do this playing in one family legacy style or in multiple families rotational style. There are a lot of variations to play, change up rules to suit your personal style and it's overall a different way to play. Sims is a sandbox game and I like to think of this challenge making it more of a progression game. Reach a goal to gain access to more of the game but that's my personal opinion.
