SCRIPTURE:
Like a shepherd taking care of his sheep, this ruler will lead and care for his people by the power and glorious Name of the Lord his God. His people will live securely, and the whole earth will know his true greatness, ~ Micah 5:4
OBSERVATION:
Jesus...
...nobody else...
Caring...
Leading...
The power and glorious Name of the Lord...
I can (should) live securely...
The whole earth will know His true greatness...
APPLICATION:
Allow Him to take care of me...
...instead of thinking I can do it myself...
Live securely!
...in the power and glorious Name of the Lord...
...in His true greatness...
PRAYER:
Leading, caring Father - Like a sheep I have wandered from the path You have prepared for me - never out of Your sight, though there are times when following my selfishness I think You can't see what's in my heart, and so I ask Your forgiveness for thinking I can take care of myself... Thank You that I can return to security of Your presence... May I know Your true greatness, and speak and act in a way that shows Your love, grace, and mercy to those who come into my life today... In Jesus's powerful and glorious Name, and for Your great glory and coming Kingdom...
