I've been running on my backup glasses for more years than I want to admit. I've got a high prescription and trifocals (I've always been an old man i swear) and had a doctor tell me my vision was too poor for contacts. Since every vision clinic insisted I couldn't get a pair of glasses for less than $800 I've been toughing it out.

I went to a new guy at our local Costco and he was almost as bitter as I am that it Turns Out I can in fact get contacts and that glasses for me should be about 550-600 less than I've been told. He was *hopping* mad.

So. I can see again.
