One of those days.

Every now and again, even the mighty Viktor Serket needs a pick-me-up.

But now, unlike any other point in his life, he had someone on hand to help him out. He had Eridia- a Matesprit that lived on the far side of the physical neediness scale, making her perfect for the kind of sunrise when he just... NEEDS something. Of course, Viktor would never admit to needing a dose of affection, not even internally- but some would call that kind of stubbornness a plus.

Ten minutes ago, he’d sent Eridia a request for some redrom time. Two minutes ago, she’d arrived- summoned by the promise of intimacy and powered by a similar baked-in starvation for touch. And now, they rested- coiled together like wired headphones in a pocket, limbs split between being wrapped around each other and tangling together. Eri was insistent that she always lay atop Viktor like some kind of stupid human mattress- but this time he had relented and twisted to put them parallel. Well, as much so as the height difference allowed. They weren’t exactly the same in terms of vertical prowess after all.

Viktor’s form naturally curls forward- spine bending to hang over the Violet below as he settles into a comfortable curl with arms wrapped tight around her waist. Her form was cool- chilly, even. But it made for a wonderful temperature balance when juxtaposed with artificially-warmed sopor slime. It was here that the two would spend the rest of their day- shutter to the ‘cupe closed and lips meeting in occasional moments of consciousness.

Calm. Happy, almost. A moment of belonging in a crazy world that doesn’t affect them at all due to their caste. How delightful it all is to be them.
