Yes, Seedstar is a terrible person AND a hypocrite! It's part of why Oatspeckle ultimately leaves her and becomes a medicine cat.
I find her interesting because she is ThunderClan's first female leader so she feels a lot more pressure than Redstar or Oakstar to conform and be what she thinks the clan wants her to be. Which is why she feels the need to punish Spottedpelt so harshly. She sees how her cats look at her and Oatspeckle... she wants to assure them they have nothing to worry about.
