honestly, I'm always very critical towards the HSR team but people acting like they are forcing you to do 200 pulls in version 3.4 is kinda crazy to me

y'know... i genuinely.... hate the immediate dismissal of not liking Dawntrail. Personally i think it's mid at best. I think the elements of a good story was there but the execution was overall botched imo

There were definitely elements that could have reworked. if i were to give Dawntrail'story a rating out of a 5? I'd give it like... 2.5 out of 5, maybe 3 but somewhere in that range

but any sort of warranted criticism of Dawntrail is immediately met with "y'all complaining about DT when there's 1.0/ ARR/ StB/ EW / insert another thing here"

like first off, there were many that weren't there for 1.0 so I can't say on exactly how bad 1.0 outside of those WHO HAVE... so that means nothing to me. secondly yes, the base game and every expansion so far and has some sort of pacing issues and what have you even my favorite expac, Shadowbringers has it's own quirks. so just why bring it up???

saying a previous expansion has problems in response to how players didn't like/ have issues Dawntrail's storyline does not tackle any warranted and valid criticisms that Dawntrail has. it's downright dismissive. it's the one thing i hate about the ffxiv community and it's infuriating.

you can love something, enjoy something, and still find faults and criticize it. i hate being treated like i hate it because I personally find it. and i hate that any faults with Dawntrail (or even with the previous expansions) is treated in bad faith

and that's also just as infuriating.

i'm the only one who isn't surprised about lorenzo's age? like, i always thought he was 19-20 years old like most of the international players (minus noa, lavinho, snuffy and chris)
