Sometimes I like to reflect on things while I'm doing less intensive workouts, like tonight I was on the bike for 20 minutes which allows me to actually just think about things while I bike away.
I stuck this under read more so I am not making you read my thoughts, because hey you could probably not give a fuck and are just waiting for me to reblog some food porn or some shit like that. Don't worry I have that food porn tag open and I'm probably baking cookies tomorrow.
Anyways, the first thought I had was dealing with my recent depressive issues. And thinking about that phrasing now it's sort of wrong because they're not really all that recent.
Well some of it is, the job situation is a new variable for me.
But a lot of the self image things crop up now and then. Working out has been pretty good for me, I'm losing some weight though the scale doesn't really show it. But the baggy clothes do, so that's making me happy I guess.
Earlier today, my dad got irritated with me because I forgot about Zumba class and ate a fairly large dinner and I don't eat before class because I'm sluggish and will probably throw up. So I just planned on going later in the evening like I usually do, invited him to go along and he's just reading Harry Potter and sulking like an ass.
My mother says he chooses to be angry and upset when he isn't in control of a situation or event. And that really scary thought of how one of my exes treated me came up, I keep seeing similarities between the two with their moods and whatnot.
I'm just now getting tired of putting up with his moodiness and it's not like I can just pack up and leave.
I have no money. I have no job. No one will put up with me for long if I don't have either one of those things.
The other thing I was reflecting on was something my mother said a while ago "My freedom ends where yours begin and it works the same way backwards too."
I think she's right, can't we just let other people be with their own freedoms and choices to do who and what we love without one party or another getting angry?
I agree that there's a lot of fucked up shit going on in this world and people are basically assholes to each other if they can be. If someone can just stop the vicious cycle at one point and just step away from something, I think we'd all live a lot happier.
