Some types of transphobia, I think, make it very obvious both that people don't consider gender-related healthcare actual healthcare (unless its certain types for cis people) and also that they do not view trans kids as people.
Like if you're denying trans kids the right to transition (medically, socially, doesn't matter), you're discriminating against trans kids. Who are trans people. Which is transphobic. This comment makes it sound like trans kids don't exist at all and that kids simply have no choice about transition (which does happen to intersex kids but seeing as they weren't mentioned in the topic, I'm fairly sure that's not what OP is talking about).
It's wildly simple to understand and yet so many people could argue in circles about it because they refuse to realize both that everyone deserves the right to healthcare/transition and that kids need human rights in general. It's ridiculous.
