I think Scotts grieff right now is less, for Avid, and more for what could of been
Scott tries not to get too attached to people, he tries to see them as temporary and fleeting and his relationships with them the same
Out off everyone, Scott spent so little time with Avid, he barely knew him really, he didnt have time to get attached to him the person
But i think he got attached to the idea of having him around, when he'd think about the future, maybe he started seeing Avids face there next to him, he didnt know what that would really look like, but he had time to find out, yeah?
