out for a humble swing in the park at 2am and a car drives up off the road, across a length of pathway, and parks right up against the fence in a pedestrian area with his headlights on pointed fully at us. this is in the middle of a large green btw so no houses, no streets, no nothing. he shouldn't even be there because it's a pedestrian path by the river. after a short while he backs up and drives around the little café and back towards the road. cool.

EXCEPT. he then drives down the narrow road at the front of the park, also mostly for pedestrians, and slowly crawls along while looking at us. he then drives up onto the grass towards us, keeps his headlights on us, and then drives up higher onto the grass at a slope severe enough we can see his car tilting, before driving back to the café again where he sits, idling.

we then ran like shit across the green to a section of road behind a barrier, and now we're at home, wondering what the fuck that was.
