For me. God, it'd be my first game. Picture it: Three friends and my sibling are watching me play the game I just downloaded for an early halloween celebration in... '17?
I only half-read the rules because there was no tutorial for Dead by daylight. Load into first game as a survivor. Get Haddonfield. Not sure what to do, teammates run around in the house where I was workin on a generator. (the one at the stairs). Panic when Michael pops up outside, so I run to the porch. He's just there. Watching me while my teammates all are running around him.
I AM SWEATING my spectators are all yelling and laughing while we all are confused what power move this killer is doing since he's just standing their and looking intimidating. Then the halloween music plays. He raises his knife. I book it. I jumped out a window and remember squatting by a bench and running around it when he found me. Everyone yelling in panic.
I get downed and hooked. My WHOLE TEAM had just been crawling around and probablly avoiding the killer while watching this play out. I get the prompt to attempt escape. I do it. I FRICKEN GET OFF THE HOOK while the killer is like 5 feet away!
Everyone is LIVID and i try running, my teammate body blocks and takes a hit and... i dont remember the rest but I am PRETTY sure i got tunneled after that. It was Hilariously chaotic. So I went and re-read ALL The rules after that.
