I'd say it kinda takes place like... post-Legacy by just a few cycles? So Legacy events would be quite recent.

In short, the main Grid has been lwk peaceful for a short amount of time, Beck, Zed, Mara, Paige + a few others r helping rebuild Argon after coming out of hiding. Beck also constantly scouts to try and find Rinzler despite knowing it's probablyyy a lost cause.

Not sure on Tesler's fate, but Dyson and Pavel having gone into hiding after forcefully being 'chased out' (Pavel moreso than Dyson, since the latter actually knows how to keep himself hidden well enough.)

So once Pavel gets sick and tired of being in the Outlands, he finds and ransacks Tron's old hideout thingy we see in Uprising and he starts to mess around with his own code while hiding there. Because, well... he's gotta keep himself busy while he plots.

And then he fucks up his code so badly that he turns into a weird eel thing mixed with a Chinese dragon or even Randall from Monsters Inc. that could lwk be some kinda Dandy's World twisted.

V3 Spoilers for Chapter 2

Um, so the the Gifted Program in V3’s universe is run by the government, right?

Isn't…isn’t Toujou part of the government??

Like I get that a PM is not like the sole authority of a nation or anything, but…if she really did have all the authority of the position thanks to Not-Abe’s little Patriot Act maneuver, then couldn’t she have dismantled the Gifted Program?

If the SHSL Hunt is real (I am skeptical of this), would that not constitute a threat to national security? And wouldn’t stripping everyone but herself of the SHSL title kinda solve the issue?

OR, what if she did the opposite, and tried to throw 15 other schmoes under the bus to keep the populace busy while she tried to tackle the real threat, meaning the Hunt is literally just panicked mobs doing their thing and scapegoating the SHSLs?

OR OR, this inconsistency could be suggesting that Toujou’s “memories” are planted and incorrect. I am still suspicious that no one has voiced this as a possibility at all.
