liiiiisten this would be so soft and sweet. you’d meet up a couple of times a week in one of the empty classrooms where you would help him practice creating certain potions he was finding difficult. when he first asked you for help, you practically said yes before he could finish asking the question because you always wanted to spend time with him; partly because he’s your best friend and partly because of your feelings for him. he wanted to do well in class and you could see that, so you had no qualms in helping him out. he was ready to put in the time and work to get it right, but sometimes you’d catch him staring at you as you explained the importance of getting the ingredients precisely right in a recipe and you couldn’t help but look back, and suddenly both of you were blushing and all of your wit just flew out the window because he was just so adorable and you already like him so much so you kind of just don’t know what the hell to do and you have no idea who leaned in first because suddenly you guys are kissing and Ashton may be having trouble with potions class, but he knew how to make a love potion and he was just so glad he didn’t at all feel the need to use it on you
