Shadow decided to wait to choose a moment when Jess seemed a little distracted, before standing on tiptoes and juuuust managing to press his lips to her cheek for a moment. "Happy kissing day, Jessica~"
send jess kisses because yesterday was international kissing day and she appreciates them.
...yes, she was distracted. There were shoes tap-dancing across the road - and they weren’t in ToonTown, which meant that someone had let a bunch of shoes run wild, and if that wasn’t one of the quickest ways to get the things Dipped--Toon shoes were like puppies. You had to keep them on a leash or they’d get run over.It was in corralling the shoes back into a fenced off area (she’d call the Toon Welfare Organization later, to see if they could find the owner and reprimand them or put the Toons somewhere they’d be taken care of better) that she felt the kiss. She froze until she heard the words, then relaxed with a smile.Jessica did, of course, return the gesture, kissing Shadow’s cheek. (She would ruffle his hair if it wasn’t beneath a hat, but she knew better than to risk revealing him as anything other than what he was. She might not care, but some humans could be so particular.)
*UNHOLY SCREECHING*

The fact that Steven so impressed and astonished when he saw Onion’s collection, (“You have G.A.L.S TOO??”) implies that GALS are way rarer than GUYS. Which is so relateable. First off, where’s my Black Widow merch? Secondly, WHERE are my Steven Universe toys? Thirdly, honestly where are any girl action figures ever at all in my childhood?
Like the fact that GALS exist but they are apparently way less of them, and possibly less kinds of them than GUYS is literally what happens. A+ analogy. But also A+ fantasy of girl-action figures like Explorer Gal, Hard-Hat Gal, and also weird ones like Triangle Gal. I just looked it up and apparently G.A.L.S stands for Gals Against Lazy Stereotypes
When can I schedule a hug for Rebecca Sugar. What even is this how is this real and on Cartoon Network.
