🌟 - Who was your very first rp muse?
Sphaira c: Her name is Sphaira. All of her stories have been developed through rp with amazing people.
She was born more than ten years ago as a doll of wax and diamond, given a soul by a chaotic goddess of death - one that happened to be in love with the puppeteer that made her. Bringing her to life was a wish of his. She grew up with a young demon that called her a sister.
In the second universe I brought her to, she and the demon became the Campbell twins. They fought along with the party of heroes that tried to defeat a tyramn in their world, but they lost and became two of the few survivors. By the time they appear again in the story, they're officially mercenaries at the service of said tyrant, but the truth is that they're acting as spies to help the son of their old leader to rise when the time comes.
Next, she's spent a lot of time being inactive, but I never forgot her nor Blake. I see this arc of time as one they spent watching the multiverse from above.
Today, they're about to make a comeback as D&D characters. They're not keeping the full knowledge of the "outside view", but they're kind of aware. She'll be an oathbreaker, rejecting the commands of a Great One and fighting to get power for herself. Blake will be a warlock instead, opting for a bargain with the god instead of rebellion. They have different views about how to deal with superior forces, but their divergences aren't strong enough to divide them.
😅 - What makes you cringe?
❝ Lip-syncing. I don’t know what it is, it’s just horrible. Don’t get me wrong, somebody just mouthing along to the words of a song is all fine and dandy but putting effort into it? Trying to seem impressive? EUUUGHHHHHIMAGINE-- ❞
❓ + Liko (so far!)
my muse will tell yours how they feel about [someone]; @likocyte
❝ He’s like a big child Even when he has a carcass at his feet, his head seems largely vacant. The duplicity of simultaneously being a big kid and a cannibalistic murderer is enthralling to me. ❞
'You are not a beast from this planet. What are your origins?'
random stuff ; always accepting ; @likocyte
❝ I’m not a beast full-stop, excuse you. ❞
He wasn’t truly offended-- didn’t have the heart to be-- but he was absolutely attuned to the verbiage with which people often addressed him. Though he doubted a sinister motive for the stranger, he was more than used to people ‘othering’ him.
He wouldn’t get it - he’s a monster. You can’t trust him - he’s a lye. ‘He’ is too generous - it’s an it.
‘This ‘’it’’ will knock your teeth in, kid.’
❝ I’m a lye! I come from another dimension! I am visiting Earth on business. ❞ And foul business it was - but he wouldn’t change it for the world. There were jobs that needed doing and sometimes there weren’t people to fill those slots; he didn’t mind stepping into the shoes of a silent anti-hero a handful of times a month. ❝ And who’re you, my bearded pariah of judgement? ❞
Traversing a continent was as if exploring the planet's limbs, threading on them with a lust for knowledge. The smell of humans was strong in this city, but within the confines of a banking building he was allured by a scent wholly different -- it was outstanding, and his curiosity was immediately piqued. In an attire uncommon, to say the least, he wandered into the formal building and pathed directly towards the vampire.
The vampire had taken to checking on how business was going the past evening. While being out in public was rare for him, he needed to keep up appearances after all. He wasn’t Entirely dead at least to the public. Many of his employees were setting up to close down for the evening as Edwin made his rounds.
As he was making his way to the exit when he saw a stranger come in. Most certainly not anyone from this city he recognized, that much was certain. Straightening his posture and adjusting his tie, the vampire took silent notice of them. A heartbeat indeed but certainly a different feeling he couldn’t parse. Things kept becoming strange, it seemed.
“Good evening, sir. We’re just about to stop up for the night so you’re on time if you need assistance.”
