Drabble be upon ye!
If you are up to it I would like something about Chin, Kono and Grover during the time of the stake-out. Deciding who has to take infomercial-guy, Chin-Grover combo before/after interrogation, whether they miss the guys or are planing to stuff them in an apartment from now on...
Send me a h50 prompt ayyyyy
"I’m just sayin’, I said it was a bad idea from the start."
Chin looks up, eyebrow cocked, and Kono snorts into her coffee. “And what,” Chin says, neck straightening, picture of grace as he looks up from the computer monitor, “may I ask, did you say was a bad idea?”
"You know damn good and well what," Lou says, arms crossed and eyes pinned on Chin’s.
"C’mon, Lou," Kono says, laughter in her voice, "you’ve got i-told-you-so written all over your face. Just spill."
"We should never have locked those two in an apartment on their own!" Lou says, voice raised and hands in the air. "I mean, the first day, yeah, I figured it’d be fine. But now they’re cooking eggs in the microwave? And the bedroom eyes, I swear.”
"Worse than usual?" Kono asks.
"I’m sure Danny would be affronted to hear you lump him in with Steven MRE McGarrett," Chin says, taking Kono’s coffee and taking a sip. Nose wrinkling, he sets it back down, and Kono sticks her tongue out at him.
"What? I like it sweet."
"You two have a problem," Lou says, looking between the two with brows raised. "Seriously? Do you hear yourselves?"
"You get used to it, brah," Kono says. "Enjoy the peace and quiet while you can."
"I think this is the first time I’ve ever felt bad for Williams," Lou says, shaking his head as he types something out on the computer. "He looked tired, man. Can’t be easy, spending too much time with McGarrett."
"Nah, they like it. They both drive each other a little crazy," Chin says, waving a hand. "One eight hundred gold give us anything?"
Kono laughs and shoves her cousin, almost spilling her coffee in the process. “Enough, yeah. She’s waiting one more night. Boys got another long night, and we got another early morning.” She slouches against Chin and laughs he spits out a stray strand of her hair. “Hey, next time, we should do a stakeout, cuz!”
"It would be nice, getting to live in someone else’s house for a few days. I bet Danny’s eating all of Agnes’ Thin Mints as we speak."
"You two are unbelievable," Lou says, shaking his head.
"Welcome to five-oh, Captain. Pass the sugar."
