I Have Genuine Questions.
I need someone who uses one of those window ACs I've only seen on TV to help me answer this - I live in a tropical country where a permanent, split unit A/C is the norm.
1. Do you take those A/Cs out when summer is over? Or can you just leave them there throughout the year?
2. If your window is the kind that slides up (like the ones Carrrie from Sex and the City has), how do you lock your window when the unit is in? As i understand it, the sliding rotating lock would not be aligned with the latch, right? Or do your windows just not lock at all when it's in?
Sorry if these questions are stupid, I have just really been curious and have always wanted to know.
