lil zac
We don’t talk enough about how awesome Lil Zac was at playing drums. I mean, Lil Zac was pretty awesome in general. He was barely eleven years old (or was he still ten?) when they recorded Middle of Nowhere. He was very capable at singing in a three-part harmony and he helped write some tunes (still the youngest Grammy-nominated songwriter) but he also played the drums! And well. Not that it isn’t impressive that Isaac and Taylor were good at their respective instruments at their relatively young ages, it’s just that Zac was so Lil. He was still pint-sized and he was playing an instrument that takes a lot of coordination, concentration and stamina. He was keeping beats and responsible for keeping everyone else on track through huge arena shows before he was five feet tall. Not only that, but he was singing while he was doing it! And wearing awesome pants. He was running around like the tween he was and screaming a lot, yes, but he was getting it done! So props to Lil Zac, who turned out to multiply his awesome as he grew older and is still one kickass, talented dude.
