Another tagging thing
rules: tag 10 followers you want to know better (Was tagged ages ago by my lovely friend whom I unfortunately see not very often lazyleezard, but I’m doing it now because I’m a lazy arse)
name: Raquel, but most people call me Rachel (which I prefer sometimes tbh).
nickname: Rachel, Reich, Rach, calamari (long story).
birthday: 22th May
star sign: Gemini
gender: Female as far as I’m concerned.
height: Hobbit-like short (just kidding), I’m a potential dwarf.
sexual orientation: still not deciphered it’d fall in pan, demi or what, but just to make things complicated, let’s say I’m peculiar when it comes to romance and all that.
favourite colours: dark colours in general, but mostly blues, greens, reds and black.
current time: 23:27
average hours of sleep: my average hours of sleep range from 10 in a row with a heavy headache to barely 5 or 6 hours with a heavy headache.
lucky number: Not really a lucky one, but I like numbers 2 and 7.
last thing I googled: ESN Bristol (people who organise activities for Erasmus students)
word that comes to mind: pepino
happy place: any sort of place in which I can sit comfortably (with a pillow if I’m lucky) and have space for my laptop/book, hold a mug and also spy on my sister.
number of blankets I sleep under: one
celebrity crush: this changes almost every month, but I’m guessing it’s Louise Brealy’s turn now
favourite book: I like books a lot in general, so I’ll just go for a symbolic kind of book. When I was 12 or so, I went to a museum with archaelogical remains from dinosaurs and other animals from the same age. I liked it so much that I bought a guide to dinosaurs on the way out and decided to memorise all the names of the dinosaurs in it (which I did).
favourite bands/artists: David Bowie, Muse, Florence + The Machine, Susanne Sundfor, Amy Macdonald, Woodkid, Arctic Monkeys, Cliff Martínez, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Rufus Wainwright, The Doors, The Smiths, and a variety of classical/film composers such as Alexandre Desplat, Richard Wagner, Nicholas Hooper, Erik Satie & if I’d kept going this would never end.
last movie I watched: ‘Another Earth’ (2011) and I regret doing so.
dream trip: going to the rural side of Scotland and learn to live the rough Scottish life for a while.
dream job: doesn’t get any clearer with the months, but I can see myself happily either teaching at a university or doing something related to theatre, radio and creative writing. If anyone knows how to become any of those, send me an email to: [email protected]
There’s people I know very little about and people I’d just like to know better, so I’m tagging ladynoblesong, arifurby, thatmiserablerevolution, littlesoak, cubocantagallo, lil-redwolf, dreamerbee and marla-black + anyone who would like to! (Seriously, I’m too shy to tag more people).
