Honestly the human was quite fortunate; usually there was always a big chance Damien would be in a rather violent state, but at that moment all he wanted was a breather from the violence. Living in the circle of violence really wasn’t a walk in the park sometimes. 

Right when he thought he could relax, he heard a voice greeting him, causing Damien to tense up and jump up, ready to attack again-- and it was a human. He slowly relaxed his muscles again, groaning a little.

“Yeah. Hi.” 

He... wasn’t really sure what else to say. What was that dude doing there anyways? He bit his lip when he could feel a stinging on his arm. Damn, one of the blades must’ve nicked him. Nothing a bandaid couldn’t fix though.

Fixed up some posts, so Kyle isn't actually waiting for surgery but had it once he entered the hospital- he'd have died otherwise- and is still in recovery.
