A small explanation into how my Tolkien OCs are connected to one another

Lothrin 

met Astoeth in Lindon, sometime before the ending of the Third Age. They marched together to serve in the War of the Last Alliance. Both lost someone dear to them in the war (Lothrin her elder brother and Astoeth her betrothed). Have stayed truest friends forever since.

met Sidhen in the North Downs, during her childhood. They are frequent travel companions, as Sidhen is always tasked with delivering messages between the dunedain fortifications. They both have a fondness of visiting hobbit dwellings. Through Sidhen she sometimes meets Toram and Maradan.

met Melilot and Adamanta Hornblower during their young years. Has had short meetings with them from time to time, whenever she rode through Oatbarton

met Giznik during her young years of the Second Age. They both have fled the destruction of Eregion and worked together with other people on the construction of Imladris. Parted ways, when Giznik settled in Ered Luin.

met Calnedon for a short while after the Battle of Pelennor in Minas Tirith.

through her friend Naeriel, she has met Duion, but only for a couple short times. 

 never met Lileyn, Bron, Hav or Balna

Sidhen

Toram and Maradan are her friends and companions. She has constant contact with them.

She has a fondness for Melilot and Adamanta and frequently travels to Oatbarton with Toram, for their company.

met Astoeth, whenever Astoeth came to the Shire to gather herbs

Has frequent contact with Lothrin.

Lileyn

at one point in time during the war of the ring she met both Bron and Hav of Dunland. Through time and trails their bonds have grown.

met Calnedon when after the War of the Ring, she traveled to Gondor

Duion

met and befriended Balna of the Orocarni. They frequently exchange favors.

hello, how're you doing? c: here with a few questions about your ocs: about lileyn, was she alive during the events of LOTR? did she participate in battle of pelennor fields (i refuse to believe éowyn was the only woman there)? does she know sidhen? also, is there a reason why you don't have an inquisitor oc? (i know people have a lot of complains about DA:I, that's why i'm curious, hope it's okay to ask about it)

Well, the reason I don’t have an inquisitor yet is because I’m playing right now Inquisition in a full playthrough for the first time (I also did a 40% playthrough in december but that was at my cousin’s computer and I had to leave). Expect headcanons as soon as I delve deeper into it. As for the part about complaints, they are well deserved. 

Lileyn was alive and well during LOTR (thank the valar for that). She was born in Elthengels, a small town in the Norcrofts, very close to the Argonath. I like to imagine that this smol rohirric child would climb over the hills and the mountain range of the East Wall and just gaze with dreamy eyes in the distance at the Argonath. This is how she received her second name, “Aegdohtor” (daughter of water, in old english)

I remember while playing LOTRO and I got to Rohan that I liked Elthengels so much and the scenery around it, that when the idea of Lileyn came in my mind, it was set. Also, besides Ellen Fremedon in the Underharrow, Elthengles is the only rohirric settlement with a woman as thane (Mildrithd). (someone correct me if I’m wrong) 

You can observe on my oc page that near Lileyn is Bron of the Dunlendings. The story arc I had in mind for the two is that both in LOTR and LOTRO Easterling attacks are described in Rhovanion and in Eastern Rohan. Lileyn alongside with the remaining women and men who did not die at Helm’s Deep or went with Theoden south, defend Eastern Rohan against these attacks. (So no, she did not went at Pelennor, but she fought nonetheless)

In the same time Dunland is taken over by civil war. The clans of Dunland are torn apart, half of them follow Saruman’s promises and fight at Helm’s Deep (and that ends with the Rohirrim killing most of them and putting the survivors to rebuild the fortress), while half of them despise Saruman and seek to put order in their own country before anything else. Bron is the chief huntress of the Stag Clan, while her brother Hav prepared himself soon to take over the duties of Brenin duties (sorta king, sorta tribe-leader) of their father. Her story arc revolves around sorting the outright war in the shift of powers of the different clans, while becoming a voice for the Dunlendings for their hundred of years dispute over the land with the Rohirrim. (I want to thank LOTRO for the wonderful ideas it gave me). 

I haven’t sorted it all out yet, but Bron and Lileyn meet and learn to overcome their stigma and prejudices (like “straw-head” (what dunlendings call rohirrim) and become great friends. 

As for Sidhen, sadly she never travelled as far south as Rohan, so she never met Lileyn. Sidhen remained behind during the War of the Ring, not going with the Grey Company south. She fought together with the remaining dunedain and the hobbits against Sharkey’s lackeys, side by side with Adamanta Hornblower. (ysss for the mental image). Since the canon never told us whether Halbarad had children or not (I like to believe he had), Halbarad together with Lothrin trained Sidhen to follow him as the Second in Command of the Dunedain. (as he knew he would never return from Pelennor).
