💌 Dear Readers, Welcome to my blog. I am a 31 year-old French woman, currently residing in Luxembourg. This is my first post on this brand new blog, which will be about anything that makes me happy (or not!), such as life, love, travelling, TV series, music, and of course, pictures sharing. For now, I thought a Q&A would be a great way to give you some headlines about myself. Don’t hesitate to post your comments and questions. 💌 When were you happiest? The first time I flew to Singapore, on my own, at 19 years-old. I felt an ocean of possibilities opening up to me. What is your greatest fear? Serious diseases. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? My impatience. It makes me crazy. What is the trait you most deplore in others? Cruelty. What is your most treasured possession? I believe nothing is ever acquired, but besides my dog, I would say my boyfriend and his loving family. What makes you unhappy? Feeling sick or bored. What is your favourite word? I am fascinated with first names and their meaning. For instance the Arabic name Neelam means “blue sapphire”. Love it. What is your favourite book? The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath. What would be your fancy dress costume of choice? Lily Allen circa 2006. What is your guiltiest pleasure? Carbs. Who would you invite to your dream dinner party? Julian Casablancas, Lily Allen, Johannes Vermeer, Elizabeth Montgomery, Amanda DeCadenet and the band Warpaint. What has been your biggest disappointment? Not being able to take care of my dog properly. If you could go back in time, where would you go? Hollywood in the 50’s. How do you relax? Browsing the internet, watching series on TV. What single thing would improve the quality of your life? Living in a warm and sunny place. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Keeping faith in life. What keeps you awake at night? Anxieties. How would you like to be remembered? As a challenged yet strong woman, passionate about travelling. Tell us a secret. I feel unhappy when I can’t eat dessert after a meal. What is your earliest memory? When I was around two, sitting on a rocking-chair in my then unborn brother’s bedroom, looking at the nice blue and white butterflies wallpaper. What would your super power be? Teleportation. What do you most dislike about your appearance? My teeth. I’m obssessed with teeth in general. What is your most unappealing habit? I pull out my hair. What is your favourite smell? Sunscreen. Who do you admire most? Lily Allen. It seems she has it all : husband, kids, money, career and looks. She fascinates me. Cat or dog? Dog. When did you last cry? Quite often the last months, usually due to being unhappy at work. What is the closest time you’ve come to death? Multiple times as a kid, getting caught up in ocean waves. What song would you like played at your funeral? Mr Sandman, by The Chordettes. Where would you like to live? Singapore or Los Angeles. What is the worst thing anyone’s said to you? “Stop dreaming!”. Is it better to give or to receive? I’m hard to please, and I really enjoy giving. To whom would you most like to say sorry, and why? To me, as I am very hard to myself. What is the most important lesson life has taught you? Forget about black or white, it will mostly be grey. Tell us a joke. Why did the banana go to the hospital? Because it wasn’t peeling very well.
