I have half answered this one to you on private; but no, i don’t plan to re-make the protagonists of that story for the neighbourhood, because i’m sane enough to know that would destroy the little mental heath i have. But already figured a way around it.

@spiderprincess Yes! It was Mary Shelley's The Last Man. I never actually started the hood, but I did make the sims.

That’s just my mod, though! I would guess that about 2/3 of the residential houses are inhabited. And it was a thriving neighbourhood. I played it a lot!

Funny thing: he’s a very conflicted Sim in my game. He loves his wife (and continuously rolls wants about her), but also rolls “typical” Romance Sim wants.

But did it work as a goodbye interaction? If so than it’s normal, sims with high chemistry sometimes would do that, with no following relationship boost. They don’t even have to be romance sims. Iirk, there’s a mod to remove a kiss from automatic goodbye options.

Ahh, that’s it then! Yes, it was a goodbye interaction and she does have two bolts with him so that is the likely cause. I’ll need to look into that mod because that’s...dumb. There’s no need to be making out as a goodbye when you barely know each other.
