They tug it back and forth because their terrible people and it usually finds its home sitting on the armrest between them with both of them holding onto their side's lid and casually trying to edge it closer to themselves.
The baby, when it cries -
BabY? no BABy. they can barely take care of themselves but if there wwas a crying baby and they suddenly became ADULTS, they would have a rule about who takes care of their child on what days when it crys. But it always ends up being tossed to the wind and the person who went to sleep first getting up.
The ice cream cone, when they share -
AGAIN something they "Share" but end up fighting over and it turns into Liam munching half of it down and Stella teasing him with whats left. And it ends in glaring, eyebrow kisses and angry kissing.
The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie -
One thing they don't fight about .Stella's gotten used to the tv shows in America and she actually enjoys most of them. So once they find what they want it just stays on that as they zone out and do whatever.
The basket, when they go shopping -
Lilla shopping amuses me to no end. Because it depends on where they are which means one of them complaining LOUDLY about the fact that the food they want is not there. So Liam would have to push it if their in America because Stella will be moping as she lays in the cart and lets food be piled on her because what is the point in living if she can't have Kidney Pies. If their in England Stella pushes the cart because Liam is too busy making "Waht the fuck is that " faces at everything.
The door, on dates -
Dates? uhm? I don't know? I feel like They both kind of just push the door open. Like its not a big thing for them. Whoever opens it, opens it. They don't make a point of changing into a "couple" it's not how they work.
The other’s hand, most often -
HAND HOLDING. OKAY. THIS IS NOT NOT AN OFTEN THING. But Stella holds his hands when she sleeps. Like it's an automatic like thing. But they don't just... hold hands. AND if they did it would be in private and kind of like a mutual awkward 'I would like to touch you' movement.
Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day -
