"I am fine, Ben-- really it looks worse than it is" Lilliandil spoke as they put the cast on her wrist. She had been standing on the counter again, to the objection of her guards and fell, luckily one of them caught her so she only banged her wrist on the counter and not her head. Even so it had a small break in it and she begged them not to call her husband-- and yet here he was and she wasn't sure if he looked scared or angry, but she knew someone was about to be in trouble for this.

"Don't blame my guards-- they tried to stop me, truly" she should be the one to take the blame for this.

Lilliandil had been sending ravens back and forth to Kara for some time, coded of course. But she had to get word to Daemon this time and she didn't trust the birds to deliver it this time, too many people had eyes on her. So she told her uncle she was going home for a couple of weeks, hoping to spend time with her family-- but in reality she was meeting Jorah on the Kings Road. . . The only issue was she had no idea what this man looked like. She was told to wear a rose in her hair and wait at the Inn, so here she sat, trying not to perk up every time the door opened.

Eventually though a man approached her and she offered a polite smile "Jorah?" The blonde asked, standing to greet him.

“It’s quite simple-- you are known for killing all of your enemies, what could be further from an enemy than your own wife?” Lilliandil was honest, she saw no reason to mince words, she was told to marry him would be to live and for their home to be safe. Of course he could still kill her if he so chose, but it wouldn’t be because she failed to be a dutiful wife and partner. “You want the power and protection my people can offer, I want certainty and to know that even if it was the wrong one, I chose and defended a side of my own will.”  Nothing in this world was certain-- but at least she was willing to do what she had to, she was willing to be brave and look him in the eye as she spoke. While her father suggested she take what was offered, it was ultimately her own choice to marry him “If you wed me you will have my power and the power of my people behind you.”

“Happy Yule, Caspian” Lilliandil greeted with a smile and a kiss to his cheek, a red dress draped around her frame and paired with the rubies around her neck and in her hair. She had been looking forward to this ball for weeks and she was more happy that the man before her was her date for the evening. “I thought after dinner and the ball we could come back to my rooms and do our gift exchange?” The star was excited to give him his presents, collected from her travels over the last year.

“You can come closer-- she doesn't often bite” Lilliandil looked over her shoulder at the man lingering behind her. She had just returned from a ride with Goldenwing, she was a bit windblown but both looked content. She was no stranger to new faces at court, in her years of living here many faces came and went, no who were not allowed were ever seen, so she felt safe in a way, the large cold colored dragon helped aid in that.

It wasn’t expected, though perhaps it should have been-- but the kiss was welcome, the star found herself leaning into the other’s soft touch, her cheek resting on those callused hands as she returned the kiss, shy and sweet. It was the beginning of something, the beginning of them in a way. In all her years-- Lilliandil had never felt for someone what she felt for Athena-- she never felt that kind of light and hope, love-- that was what she knew she felt. 

Moving a bit closer, the blonde let her hands come to rest on Athena’s waist, toying with the fabric of her top, it felt nice in her hands, and it felt nice to be held by her.

It was an interesting life Lilliandil lead, she spent her days tending to the young and her nights with the pack in the common room, after which she and the other omegas would clean up after dinner before relaxing a bit before bed. It was the same, day in and out, a simple life-- but one she loved dearly. On this night she found herself alone by the fireplace, a book in her lap, so engrossed she almost didn’t notice someone taking the empty spot by her side. Marking her pace she glanced up with a warm smile “hello there-- anything I can help you with?”

Lilliandil was not as ignorant to the world as many thought, she knew of Susan and the flame he carried for her, and even in knowing this she decided to place herself with him, he was a good man and a wonderful King. She knew he would do amazing things and she was happy to stand by him as his Queen. She had taken to court life rather well, and found joy in helping where she could, taking some of the burden from her husband.

Sometimes she missed the island, she missed looking down from the sky and her family-- on those nights she would sit in the window and talk to the stars. But those nights were further and further between. She had Caspian now, and he was a great comfort to her, over time she found she had come to love him more than she ever thought was possible.

"You are very kind, husband-- you don't have to say it, you show it to me often."
